Academic Requirements
For Undergraduate Programs (Bachelor's Degree)
- Secondary Education: High school diploma or equivalent (12 years of education)
- Minimum GPA: 2.5/4.0 or equivalent (negotiable based on program)
- Age Requirement: 17-35 years old at time of application
- Academic Subjects: Relevant foundation courses for chosen program
For Graduate Programs (Master's Degree)
- Bachelor's Degree: From recognized institution (4 years or equivalent)
- Minimum GPA: 3.0/4.0 or equivalent
- Field Relevance: Related undergraduate degree preferred
- Age Requirement: No upper age limit for graduate programs

Important Note About Documents
All foreign documents must be translated into Russian and notarized. Some documents may require apostille certification or embassy legalization. Don't worry - Horizon Scholars handles all document processing for you!
Language Requirements
Russian-Taught Programs
Most programs are taught in Russian. Options include:
- Preparatory Year: 10-month Russian language course (recommended)
- Direct Entry: Russian proficiency certificate (B1 level or higher)
- Bridge Program: 6-month intensive Russian course
English-Taught Programs
Limited programs available in English:
- IELTS: Minimum score 6.0 (6.5 for graduate programs)
- TOEFL: Minimum score 80 iBT (90 for graduate programs)
- Alternative: English proficiency interview with admission committee
